Investing in advertising is scary. We immediately think: huge budget, difficult to measure return on investment, etc.
With Google Adwords, this is not the case. In this article, I will show you some basic principles that I apply to all my clients' campaigns.
These principles allow you to invest in advertising with peace of mind.
#1 – Start with a small budget and increase it only when you see results
There is no minimum budget on Adwords. I have

Technically it is possible to spend only €1 per day (Adwords allows it), but with such a tight budget it would not be worth being present on this platform in my opinion.
So there is no reason to rush things and release a large budget for a campaign. We start small, we optimize the campaign, then when it is profitable enough for your business, then we increase the budget gradually.

I bet if your $300 per month budget brought you $1000 in revenue per month, you wouldn't mind increasing your budget the following month, right?
2 – Create highly targeted ads
When I say highly targeted, I mean really highly targeted! Think as far as an ad specifically designed for each keyword.
With this level of precision, it becomes much easier to create relevant ads. The tradeoff is that it takes a lot of time, but it's worth it.
A good compromise is to only do this for keywords that have a good search volume or generate a certain number of conversions.
3 – Test new ads continuously
When you create a new ad group, you may want to create a single ad and think that should be enough. But that’s not enough.
