k, this is yet another game that is in planning phase, but will be made before SKB, cuz I already have more planned.
This game will be made with Game Maker 6, and will hopefully be released around Nov. of this year.
I'll try to get GM6, but with dial-up, I might not be able to until later in the month. I already have GM6 on my desktop, but there's no way to get sprites/music without internet, and I don't have a floppy disc or a CD-R. Can't transfer without internet.
First of all, I want to make it clear that Majin from tSR owns the block sprites, and Oldskoolmario, also from tSR, owns the Mario sprites. I just edited the powered-up sprites from the originals. There may be other copyright crap added on later...
This will be the same as the other SMB games, but with new features and powers.
Planned Features (for now):
- New "e-blocks" that can change Mario's power.
- Blocks that can change the terrain.
- Hidden levels from other SMB games.
-e-blocks:
-- Boo e-block: Transforms Mario into Boo Mario.
-- Metal e-block: Transforms Mario into Metal Mario.
-- Fire e-block: Transforms Mario into Fire Mario.
-- Ice e-block: Transforms Mario into Ice Mario.
-- Quake e-block: Transforms Mario into Quake Mario.
-- Water e-block: Transforms Mario into Water Mario.
-- Floral e-block: Transforms Mario into Floral Mario.
-Terrain Blocks:
-- Green: Gives the level a grassy theme.
-- Blue: Gives the level a water theme.
-- Red: Gives the level a lava theme.
Planned Powers (for now, also taking suggestions):
Boo: Allows Mario to see what Boo's see, talk to Boos, jump higher, and fall slower.
Metal: Allows you to stay invincible for 20 seconds, and walk underwater.
Fire: Allows you to shoot fireballs and makes you live 2x longer on a lava theme.
Ice: Allows you to shoot ice.
Quake: Allows you to cause earthquakes in peril or at full health.
Water: Allows you to breath underwater and live 2x longer on a water theme.
Floral: Makes you live 2x longer on grassy terrain.
This is all i'm going to release for now, but don't worry, once the game is in the techdemo phase, i'll release alot more. =D
