NSMB was a hyped game before release...but did it live up to it's hype? It's a cool game when you get it, and mega mushrooms are fun to run around with, but the game is incredibly short. A game beaten in 1 1/2 days does not a pwnsome game make. It needs more levels, or at least longer levels. But other than that, you gotta love it. The graphics are good, and so is the gameplay. It's even fun playing the same level over and over again. An NSMB3 would probably be even better with the same levels as the original SMB3. I give this game a 4 out of 5.

Decent review. Really the only flaw of the game is the mega mushroom.

Yes, this game is short. (unless you spend ALL your time going after all the big coins) ... *sigh* ... if only there was an online multiplayer mode to where you could go through the whole game. =/ That would so roxx.

great game, but too short. I've been shell dashing though entire worlds to entertain myself...and by shell dashing, I mean using one shell dash per stage. Of course, there are world where that is impossible. But the Multiplaying "get the stars" is entertaing. Better than the minigames, most were repeated from SM64DS....
and yeah, a online multiplayer would rok =/

What the hell? You people are complaining about a Nintendo side scroller being short? Play it again. And again, and then again. And when you're tired, play it once again. I can still play any of the 2D Marios in the whole series today and have fun with it. They're as close to timeless as you can get. Super Mario Bros trilogy on NES, Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island, Super Princess Peach, you name it, I never stopped having fun with it.

Duh, but you think I havent played NSMB so many times by now? I'm Shell Dashing as many worlds as possible now...but you think that I think that they arent timeless? *turns snes Emulator on* now to continue that file on SMB3...
