Mario & Sonic At The Olympic GamesPublisher: Nintendo Developer: Sega Genre: Sports Players: Four Elements: The only conceptual thought in this entire game is making it a crossover of two great rivals and their supporting cast. Graphics: Much like I've said for most Mario spinoffs that aren't RPGs, it's not something that couldn't have been done five years ago. Soundtrack: Well, it HAS sound. This is for sure. None of the sound particularly stands out. Gameplay: The controls work. However it's the lack of depth that makes it feel like a kiddy game, and not like some good fun. Longevity: 1/5 Overall: 5/10 I can't say that even I wasn't excited for Mario & Sonic. However, there are LOTS of party games on the Wii. Which makes it a very competitive quality to go for. Mario & Sonic isn't as good as Rayman Raving Rabbids, it doesn't even have the charm of Warioware and can't even step in the league of what was a decent Mario Party this year. Hell it's a step below Wii Sports. I would only recommend this game to people who love Mario, love Sonic, and love multiplayer games. I'm sure that's what the target audience was in the first place because this sure isn't bringing in any outsiders.
