How has Square-Enix basically pretty much secretly saying there will eventually be a remake of Final Fantasy VII, yet seemingly desperately be hiding it at the same time? Their covering our eyes, with plastic, but if we look, we will see through it. What is going on with this? The following should help clarify.
Square-Enix has said that there will be another 10 years to the compilation, and they want to end it with a bang (maybe not in that word, but that's the meaning).
And they also have said it would take them 5 years to make a Final Fantasy VII remake, but 10 years? They could, in that case, wait 2, 3, 4, or possibly so much as 5 years from now before they even have to begin further actual development of it and be within that so said 10 year period of the FFVII Compilation time, I personally think your answer has already been given, I say it should certainly be out, and 2016 at the very latest.
I have my answer, what is yours?

Yes, I think they should remake it. It was my personal Favorite game and with the technology and the story it has they could make an unblievable game.
I personally think they should.

It's starting to bother me again to wonder about it, but I am hoping after they've finished all they're working on after 3, 4, or 5 years at the longest, I'm hoping they'll then announce the starting of development on it after they have cleared everything else up good, then it apparently would take them 5 years, so if they started working on it in 5 years, for about 5 years, it would be out for the holiday season of 2016, the final year of the Final Fantasy VII Compilation, and that my friend, would be ending it with a big bang (basically). *Fireworks go off*

I'm not to sure, they might, but then again they might not... I hope they do, FF is one of my favorite games (And I've only played one of em' XD)

It is too bad, but it has turned out to be a failure...even though it is one of the proboards forums with quite a bit of work put into it, something fell short...

I know, but that has failed everywhere I've tried it, everytime I've tried it, success is not it's fate, I think destruction is it's fate, and I don't think this is rash; get the demolition and get ready to wipe out the forum.
1st day of November, it's gone.
Back to...at least a little more on topic. I seriously have mixed feelings about Square-Enix anymore, they should remake FFVII, but I just don't know whether they will do the right thing or not.

FFVII ... or IIIX ... is one totally awesome game. =P "IIIX" doesn't exist. If it's XII you're looking for, than yes, it is awesome. As for the poll, I'm not too sure what to vote for. They'll probably end up re-doing FFVII, VIII and IX like they did for Final Fantasy Anthology and Origins. But that'll probably take a long, long time. |
