I just now thought up this game myself, so I'll explain the rules. The first poster (me) will post 2 words, or two names of things which serve a similar purpose, this can be anything. Then the next poster must give as accurate of a description of the two, then point out what the difference between the two are. Example: Microwave or Toaster, what's the difference?
Microwave: Used mainly to warm up food (leftovers, sandwiches, subs, soup, sauce, etc.).
Toaster: Used to toast bread with it's hot internal electrical wires, making the bread very warm, turn somewhat brown in color, harder and crunchier.
Difference between the two: While a microwave can heat up various foods as well as bread, it doesn't toast them like a toaster does, it simply makes them warmer.
Bread may become somewhat moist after being put in a microwave, but if it is put in a toaster, it will give a darker color and make it harder and crunchier as it warms it. |
Now to get started, you give your best description on these (try not to copy my description too much. And of course, you don't have to make it as long as I did, just as long as you need to sufficiently get the meanings across). Microwave or Toaster, what's the difference?

Post by Fire Fox on Aug 28, 2007 19:30:45 GMT -5
Rap: genre of African-American music of the 1980s and 1990s in which rhyming lyrics are chanted to a musical accompaniment.
Metal: Any of a category of electropositive elements that usually have a shiny surface, are generally good conductors of heat and electricity, and can be melted or fused, hammered into thin sheets, or drawn into wires. Typical metals form salts with nonmetals, basic oxides with oxygen, and alloys with one another.
Difference: Metal can be melted or fused into something better. If you take rap and try to do that, it turns out worse.

Post by ~~~~~~~Spitfire on Nov 14, 2010 17:03:20 GMT -5
World of Warcraft is a grind intensive market hog featuring 15 ways to empty your bank account. Progress is time consuming to encourage continuing subscription fees, as well as additional charges from a cash shop if you want flashy equips or mounts.
Guild Wars 2 is subscription-free, designed around easy of play and zero grind. Noticeable progress can be made in just a half hour of casual play. Dynamic events are made to eliminate questing while giving fluid and effective goals that leave a lasting mark on the world.
