So, my party got Pokérus!! This happens even less often than a shiny Pokémon appearance from what I've learned (I'm no game hacker to witness its true probability value), unless you got an infected Pokémon from a special Nintendo event.
It wore off after half an hour having my DS closed. I didn't take too many steps. Another thing I did was to save twice and going to the Pokémon Center once before realizing my Pokémon became immune.
Luckily, I had stored (and still have stored) one of my infected Pokémon in the PC.
