Ok, this thread it made for the game of the centuary, Super Smash Bros Brawl
Here we can talk anything based on this great game
Ok, I'll start:
So, we all know that this new SSB has taken a LONG time to come out, but it is finally on its way. My topic for now is:
What characters (top 5, 3rd parties included) do you want in SSBB?
and what do you think of the new looks of the veteran characters?
oh, and any other thing can be talked about...
Top 5
1) MegaMan (X preferably)
2) Dark Samus
3) Lucario/Blaziken
4) An Improved Mewtwo (compared to SSBM's-Insult-to-Mewtwo Mewtwo)
5) Sonic
and now the "Veterans":
Mario: Little change, but it is quite noticable and cool
Link: OMFG! The change is awesome...
Pikachu: well...he is a bit more round...has he gained weight? Nintendo should have taken less on SSBB...>_>..just cause yolu use special attacks, it doesn't mean you don't go to the gym every now and then...
Kirby: WTF? Kirby has eaten too much...he and pikachu do not make a good combo of friends...
Samus: cool, the Difference between Super Metroid's Samus and Prime's Samus is shown and cool. I wonder if the missles are now energy like they are in the Prime games.
And now for the most recent, Fox!:
OMG...I, as a fox user, am pretty pissed, I mean the look is cool, but the head! X|
The head, the SFC head! why!?

Oh, and that crawling? intersting...I wonder if it will somehow cancel out wavedashes ^_^

Hopefully it'll cancel out wavedashing... the only thing I use it for is for edge hogging, which I don't do much of anyway -- either way, it's just something that lets you move a little faster if you even think about practicing it at all. =/

Blaziken? People who want Blaziken remind me of the people that want Toadette or Daisy in the game. I advise to stop wishing unlikely stuff or you'll be disappointed and nobody wants to hear whines.
P.S. This thread reminds me of the S.F. Thread, because it's inside a full section/message board under the same name.

I know Blazy has almost no chance, but W/e...I say what I think...at least hes more than waluigi...I think =/ Who would have guessed it? XP yay! another Blaziekn-wanter! Adding that would be the same as Dr. Mario, the only difference is a suit, but w/e, you decide what you want Actually, We can only have 2 more 3rd parties (max) and adding 2 of the same would suck and well...suck...and Sonic MUST be in before Shadow can get in...but of course, you know this |

Well, let's see, I'll try think of 5 more characters I want in it that have any chance (imo). Lucario Charizard (it doesn't really have a chance, but I'm having trouble thinking of 5 more new characters I would like to see in it  ) Cloud Ridley Wolf O' Donell (and NOT looking like Fox! T_T His head is screwy...) I wasn't shocked by the change Mario had, but it is definately noticable though. I am amazed with the transformation Link had, he looks great now!  I didn't notice much of a difference in Pikachu, maybe a little bit smoother, but not very noticable. And I really didn't notice anything different about Kirby. Samus is looking pretty good, the power suit is more shiny now I think. I am very disappointed with what they've done to Fox...his head is messed up, and he has feet like Bozo...I say no more... I thought Snake looked really cool in the trailers, I am excited to get to using that cool character. I like crawling being available now, it could be useful, I wonder if some characters won't be able to crawl, and if so, who. It is an interesting new ability, and it's perfect for Snake, as seen in the 2nd trailer. |

I'd also like to see Diddy Kong, someguy from earthbound (ness wants a friend to kick ass with him, too) Bowser Jr., some guy from a SF game, change Y. Link's look to the WW Link and out with Pichu or Jigglypuff. oh, and something from F-Zero games...C. Falcon wants a friend too....
EDIT: oh! and the return of the entrances! those things are small, but cool and necesary (Ex of a entrance: Pikachu enters the stage in a Pokeball, mario in a pipe, etc.)

Maybe they'll improve his look for SSB4. Anyway, I wonder why did they use his Command look; it probably was for marketing reasons.
TLoZ:OoT and TLoZ:MM were the games they based Link, Zelda, Ganondorf, and Young Link after in SSBM. But TLoZ:OoS and TLoZ:OoA appeared after the N64 ones and before SSBM, and they didn't use that Link nor that Zelda nor that Ganon.
Back to the Pokémon, I wonder if they will allow us to use different genders for them. The Pikachu in the trailer is male.
Dialga and Palkia will be really interesting if they appear from Poké Balls. Picture the space or time-related mess they would create in the stage!

Ok... I was just browsing at gamestop (The main VG store I use) And Hey, I decided to check out the nintendo Wii. I went into games and searched for SSBB, I saw something that made me say "Umm... OK... WTF!?" out loud. Dare to know what it was? Here's what it was  Look for yourselfI'm not going to get "TO" Excited since this is only one VG store. I'm going to research at some others storesI know. Found another, It's three months Earlier. Check it.  See for youselfOk so... 2 Stores have it's release date in early next year. One is an actually VG store, One is an electronic store. I'm gonna keep looking. What are the Main VG stores or Electronic stores near you? I'd like to check as many as possible out. (Not like Target...Their not JUST VG's or electronics) |

Hm, where did they hear those? They aren't on websites with information on SSBB, the only video game information website I've seen a release date on is 1up, saying a release date of 2/1/2007, I'd like that pretty good, but I'm not sure at all, no other website I've been to has a release date mentioned.
