D*mmit! Nintendo...You suck. I'm waiting here for a good update...Then I get this?! Recovering has been in since SSB. But, it did hint at an idea FF and I had a LONG time ago. (About the time we got SSBM.) Air Grab. Grabbing an enemy in the air, and throwing him/ her in any of the four directions. (Although, you might be able to throw at angles with motion sensing...)

Smells like a mystery. That's weird, why IS there lightning? Could it be some cool effect they added when you hit someone?

Well, it's Kirby. Remember he got many powers during his adventures, so it could mean anything.

Today's update added Kirby and Pikachu to the list of characters on the website. It's been quite a while since we got 2 characters in one update. Is that a good sign, or a bad sign...?

Good: 2 Characters closer to Snake, and Zero Suit Samus Bad: It'll most likely be awhile until another character update.

Hm, I notice that at the end, Masahiro Sakurai says "How do you do smashes and dashes with just the Wii Remote? If I get the chance to tell you, I will." So, I wonder if he'll get the chance, or if we'll just have to read it in what probably will be a pretty big Instructions Booklet.
This is a very good update, imo. I love freedom, and knowing I can use just about any of the good, recent controllers any way I want. Though right now I don't have a Classic Controller, so at the moment that doesn't appear to be a choice for me.

or if we'll just have to read it in what probably will be a pretty big Instructions Booklet. Good point! Well, I'm not sure... If the concept of the series includes performing special moves the easiest way possible (easy combinations of buttons), then the motion recognition should be made simple as well . I have to buy a new controller. Two, actually. Maybe one will be a GCN one and the other a Classic one, but if I do the latter, I'll probably start buying Virtual Console games as well ^_^. All of this was classified under "Game Modes". This is not a game mode really (it's more hardware than software). I want real game modes!

Yeah...it probably really belongs more in How to Play than Game Modes. It might take one to deep thought to figure out the sense of putting it under the Game Modes section.
Perhaps it's like using the different controllers he considers as like different modes of playing the game. Idk, just throwing something out there.
But it doesn't really matter what section it is under, it's the content that counts, and this is nice info, to be sure.
And I have to agree with one of the things Sakurai said, about recommending using the GameCube Controller, though check out the other controllers for a fresh new experience of playing the game.

When comparing to the GCN controller: 1. Wii Remote + Nunchuck: Lacks a "B" button (actually "B" is now instead of "R") if "A" keeps being used for regular moves. Or Lacks an "R" button if you now use "1" button and "2" button instead of "A" button and "B" button. In this case, I guess a tilt could be used for grabs, or grabs could only work with the "Z" + regular move button. For taunts, you could always use the Control Pad. 2. Wii Remote alone: IDK

Actually, with what the Wii books are like, it will probly still be pretty small, then some french and spanish versions.
I'm gonna use the Wiimote/Nunchuck combo. I bet most ppl who have ever played melee with a GC controller (everyone) will still use the GC controller. Even i might. I might aswell put my two to use after all.

It's a d*mn shame we can't use ShockDrop's mother as a method of control. You deserve the official What The Hell badge. (Psst, it comes with a life size blow-up vibrating doll of Shock's mom.)
