@ Shadrio: Wait, how does being able to have a longer name specifically when you choose to fight with the Pokémon Trainer make any sense...?

There's something missing in this update... Notice how they only showed the Down + B move...

Well they probably wouldn't have shown any special moves if it weren't for the important of the character's vB move, it's a huge part of him, it let's him swap between the 3 Pokémon he uses.
I'm pretty sure that the Pokémon will be fully controllable, but does any think there is a chance that they might be only computer controlled? That really would suck to have a character that sends out characters you just watch fight for you and hope they don't do badly...

Well, I hope you can control them, at least to an extent.
Otherwise, it would be too much like the Battle Palace from Hoenn... Trust your Pokémon!

That'd be a serious bummer if all you could do was watch them on their own, and press vB to swap...

I was gonna say the final smash would be a Tri-Attack, but thats Fire Water and Electric. Not Grass. =/

You were hoping so much for Charizard being playable, I was feeling sorry for you... But you'll finally have your wishes made true this December. And nobody can tell for sure if Lucario will be in, so stick with Charizard

That's like your true self! You were hoping so much for Charizard being playable, I was feeling sorry for you... But you'll finally have your wishes made true this December. And nobody can tell for sure if Lucario will be in, so stick with Charizard I definitely will do that. I'm still trying to make myself believe that Charizard is really going to be in it, for me it just seems too good to be true, but I know it is. I got to feel pretty sure that if it is even going to be in it at all, it'd be in a Poké Ball, nothing more. But when I hoped it'd be playable, I would mostly think "in my dreams..." But now it'll be right before my eyes just feet away on my television come this Christmas. And I'll end up reading spoilers galore when others are playing it a little over a few weeks before then, on December 3rd and beyond. I don't want the whole game to be spoiled, but when there is something new about SSBB on the Internet, I'm compelled to check it out. The more I find about the game, though, the less I seem to mind having more revealed about it, since I already know so much already, why start making myself uninformed of each weekday's updates now? I know one thing the website hasn't revealed; how to unlock what characters, and that's one thing I really don't want to know. I want to be surprised when I accomplish what I need to and get that "Warning! A Challenger Approaches!" message and see the character silhouette, it is what gets me really pumped up. It's that inextinguishable determination to defeat the challenger and know that I'll get a new playable character out of it that makes me truly go all out and win them everytime. Or, at least in Melee. In the original, I may have needed to fight Ness more than once before I unlocked him for the first time. I was pretty new to it, and wasn't as good then as I am now, not close. Whoa. That's a pretty long message, guess I better slow down and just post it before it turns into my entire history of my experience in playing Super Smash Bros. games. Just had to get all that out of my system.

Mewtwo was a horrid unlock...Me and Frog were messing around, and I was being someone I was terrible with...Then the challenger approached...o.o I sh*t myself when I died...XD Now I could beat him with and character...(Yoshi might be pretty hard though...)
Other than that, I'm pretty sure I've won all of them...I'll be using GC controller probly, so I'll retain most of my skill. And DESTROY ALL CHALLENGERS! >=D

I got a new Gamecube controller months ago, and intend to take it out of it's packaging until I get SSBB on Christmas, though I can't wait to use it.

I might buy a Classic Controller... I want to be able to play it like in the GCN, but not with the GCN controller itself.
I have 2 GCN controllers and 2 Remotes + Nunchucks nonetheless.

Anyone remember when I submitted Squirtle back at SBO? Or am I the only one without amnesia?

Anyone remember when I submitted Squirtle back at SBO? Or am I the only one without amnesia? Mmmm...Remembering tastes goooood. But I don't remember. So yeah...XD I've got 1 Wiimote + nunchuck. And 3 GC controllers. I need a classic eventually...I want to try it on SSBB, but the GC controller will probly be my main...

What about that? That's when you entered Reverse Mode just because other people than you also submitted Squirtle.
The truth is that Squirtle was always easy to see as a fighter. But clearly they wouldn't pick only one starter Pokémon of the same generation because it would have been unfair for people who were fans of the other two.

I think the 2nd form of the three starters would be best. If not 3rd...(Blastoise would be pretty killer...)
