This is the Smash Team League (STL).
I am Soda Popinski, the president of the STL, if you will. I am trying to form a competitive and gun Super Smash Brothers Brawl experience that will last a long time, and incorporate many players. Our home base is located at Fusion Lock. fusionlock.proboards101.com/index.cgi
Incase you didn’t know, Fusion Lock is where most of the SBO community went to, after its fall. Though the STL is in FL, I am reaching out to all of the forms associated with our community. I humbly ask to all Brawl players with wifi to join the STL, and get ready for a great brawling experience.
Let me give you a synopsis….
I am expecting anywhere from 6-10 teams at the moment, but that it subject to change.
Each team will consist of 3 members (Subject to change, depending on amount of participants). 1 team captain and 2 normal members. The captain will create a name for the team (within reason, please). Captains will be able to trade players as long as both parties agree.
The STL functions like a sporting league. Each week 2 teams will be put against each other. Eventually resorting in a championship match. How matches work? Glad you asked! There will be three 1v1 brawls in one match, so all members duke it out. For example…
Team 1: Bob, Harry, and George
Team 2: Carl, Lou, and Wally.
The matches would be…
Bob vs Carl
Harry vs Lou
George vs Wally
The concern of which members fight who is not set. That detail will be hammered out in the near future. It may be team’s chose of their order.
Whichever team wins the best 2 out of those 3 1v1 matches, wins the entire match.
The Captains will be chosen in the near future. And then the captain’s will draft their team members in a large draft pool.
All the details are not finished yet. There is much to be done. But I need to get people to join in order to move forward.

TO SF: As a personal note. I was disscussing this, and think it would be a great idea. With Sanity recently being unbannedon FL and apoligized to by DAN, I feel its time to bury the hatchet. Firefox, SD, you should come back to FL. And furthermore...Firefox, I'd like to offer you a position as a captain. You can lead the S.F. team, if you accept. I really hope you guys join, youre my friends and why split up the community? Think about it.
