Who is your favourite character in Melee?

My favourite character in Super Smash Bros. Melee is Mewtwo, though it is definitely not my best character...but it certainly isn't my worst character.

It is by far the coolest of the playable Pokémon characters, and looks the best overall to me (it isn't very blocky and has good flowing animations for movement and attacks).

If he doesn't return in Brawl, and Lucario doesn't make it, Charizard will probably be my favourite character in that, so I'm looking forward to seeing how he'll move (what would his taunt be?).

So, what is your favourite character in Super Smash Bros. Melee, and why?

I like Link most, as a character. He's not my best, but everything about him is badass. Yeah, even his smexy taunt...

Ganondorf. Heavy, Hardy, full of hard-hitting attacks, and he laughs at everything, he's definitely evil! (And my favorite.)

I'm not sure I have a favorite Smash Bros. character. When I play the game I don't play it taking into any account how awesome the characters are in their own games. I play it and I pick my character based on the amount of fun gameplay I can have with them with no thought (sometimes knowledge, i.e. Marth) of their actual back story, personality, or anything. So I can't say my favorite character, perse, based on the character itself. But I can say my favorite character to play as, which is definitely Captain Falcon right now.

I've switched alot of mains over the years but I've finally given Falcon the time of day which has really helped me hone his speed and prowess. My edge guarding's becoming impenetrable and the guy's got some combos that are downright unfair.

I pretty much mained Ganondorf, Falco, Marth and Ness in Melee, but overall Ness was my favorite.
