I know this may be a dumb question with an obvious answer to most people, but I actually do not consider the SSB series to be just a few more Mario games. The games don't feature Mario and Luigi, they don't focus on any particular character, these games, in my honest opinion, are their own unique series of games that feature Nintendo All-Stars, and thanks to Brawl, even more than that. So how can you call a game that has Solid Snake in it a Mario game? I just don't. Vote, and post your thoughts on the subject. Discuss.

...Who said the SSB series is Mario games?
Also, remember the Mario submission fad at SBO? Heh, I still remember Shockdrop submitting Real Mario.

XD Well, my brother and father are firmly insisting that they are Mario games, saying stuff along the lines of "It's Super Smash Bros., they (Nintendo) assume that people will get it (get that they are Mario games. )." and "Mario and Luigi are the only bros./brothers (can't remember which they said) in the game." Lame excuse! Lame excuses!! Nintendo just comes up with a name that catches people's attention, and Super Smash Bros. has a good ring to it, it says Nintendo to me at least. I think they're just being silly about it. >_>
