Hey there, the tournament I went to a few weeks back finally uploaded video's. I went to Superboom's place last week and we played, he recorded some matches as well(Which should be up within the week) but until then I'll give you guy's these: You.three: None uploaded as of yet, this tournament was before Sou Kawaii where I placed Second. Sou Kawaii: Superboom&KillLock vs Alphicans&FrioSuperboom&KillLock vs Alphicans&Frio 3(Missed recording the second one, the owner had a Wii hacked to record an infinite time limit, but we had forgotten to save the second round) KillLock vs Alphicans(Once again, only one round out of the 3 were recorded) KillLock vs FrioLosers Finals: KillLock vs Superboom 1KillLock vs Superboom 2KillLock vs Superboom 3KillLock vs Superboom 4Grand Final's: Superboom vs Alphicans Set 1Superboom vs Alphicans Set 2Grand Final's was so funny, mainly because Alphican's didn't expect Superboom to go Falco against him(He was using Falco so he could get some 0-death/easy damage on Snake), once Superboom went Falco, it was over LOL. Alphican's looked like he was going to cry haha. So funny. I made 3rd in this tournament, pretty good considering I only used Marth and his worst 3 matchups(MK, Dedede and Snake) are the most common characters in the tournament scene. I didn't exactly feel at my prime this tournament, the pressure got to me, my spacing wasn't exactly the best. This will be my personal archive for my video's in the future as well. ===================== NEW VIDEO'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ===================== We recorded these at around 5 in the morning, we were all so tired and we were doing crazy stuff it was so funny. Anyway, we decided to record a "Best of 3" Set matches for the fun of it. Enjoy. KillLock(Marth) vs Pitch(ZSS)Set 1KillLock(Marth) vs Pitch(ZSS)Set 2KillLock(Marth) vs Pitch(ZSS)Set 3before these Set's I was raping Allan, then he stepped up his game within a matter of a second. These were fun and intense. Superboom(Snake) vs KillLock(Marth)Set 1Superboom(Snake) vs KillLock(Marth)Set 2(Facing Snake when really tired is FUCKED LOL, Dan rapes) Kuraudo(Lucario) vs KillLock(Marth) Set 1Kuraudo(Lucario) vs KillLock(Marth) Set 2 Part 1Kuraudo(Lucario) vs KillLock(Marth) Set 2 Part 2DDDcide is so messeeed lol Also more Video's of the other player's facing in Set's in Superboom's account. Make sure to check those out too. More coming soon.

Nice Battles, I wish I could experience stuff like that, but alas, I only know 2 good smashers... there's virtually no competition for me with them... Those Marth (you, as I can see) vs Snake were awesome, though I was rooting for Snake (Snake's one of my favorites for his mind games) I must admit though, those Falco vs. Falco were... the lamest "battles" I've ever seen in my life, well, at least when they were Chain Grabbing each other... I wish I could fight more humans... I'm the best I personally know and my level of reactions is a lot lower that those... btw, how is it that you got those videos recorded? Recording them on Replay and then just video camera? Anything special I should know about?

The owner used Homebrew channel and an SD chip I believe to hack the Wii so the recording limit was infinite. You could easily find a guide on it on smashboards somewhere.

I couldn't play Brawl anymore until I removed the Homebrew Channel from the Wii, the SSBB file that had been being played with many different codes on, and all the code related content on my SD Card...then finally, the Wii didn't have anymore freezing at ii Menu troubles, and SSBB isn't freezing after just 10 minutes of play, I can play it for several hours straight without it freezing, good ol' Brawl. I've had hardly any Player vs. Player matches, almost all just Me vs. CPUs. >_< If I ever can get High Speed Internet, imma gonna change that. XD It is hellishly slow loading videos, it'd take me forever to load all those...could you work on PT some more and show off your skills with him to me? I want to see if you're just that good, or it's just Marth. XP J/k! Still, I'm curious to see how good you can do as Charizard, without me saying any of what I do in the way of a strategy, just use him how you are most comfortable, whether you use a lot of aerials, or focus on attacking from the ground mostly. Oh, and it seems to me there is some way to post the .bin files of Brawl Replays on forums like this, isn't there some website you can upload those Replay files so that they are a file that can be posted for others to download, put onto their SD Card, and view in Brawl? I'm positive I've done that before, and I know I got a replay from someone who did this, so there must be some website that allows you to do that, but what? It's name escapes me and I don't have it in my Favourites to just click on... <_< If I had that, and someone else did, we could see some of each other's replays to get a little bit of an idea of our skill levels, because I still won't be able to connect my Wii to the Internet for a day shy of 3 months longer, when I should be getting a Linksys Wireless Router (I'm at least counting on getting one, even though, as much as I want to guarantee it, I can't. >_>'). :/ Sorry for the outrageously long post btw, I just can't help myself. XD

I couldn't play Brawl anymore until I removed the Homebrew Channel (yadayadayada) (Blablabla) (dribbledribbledribble) long post btw, I just can't help myself. XD Holy, shiz man. You should be an author, you sure do like writing long posts... ·_· Nice Battle DL, though the lag killed it, I think it was still worthwhile. Plus, you would have raped me completely, those videos you sent me are scary in some points ·_·

As noob question as this is, I'm gonna ask it. Because I am indeed very lazy and don't want to look at Smashboardz fer it. How do you do that Snake ^ Smash Glide? Also... dl you have a slightly funny curse about your playing. No matter who has the move or item, a bomb will almost ALWAYS blow up on you. And you're usually holding it lol. But hey, thats better than my curses. One being NOOBNESS and the other being SDing myself with Recovery moves. XD
AND ONE MORE! I wanna cradle DL's beastly Marth with SNAKE! Omg that would MAKE MY DAY. Just to be able to say that. I've gotta work on so much more lol... GOSH DANG IT. Okay well... Soon we should face, just so I can show you my hopefully .1 upgrade. <_<;

Smash Gliding (quite a few Characters can execute useful Drifting [that's what I call it]):
Do a running attack with the C stick, Downwards works best for me, and then quickly do Up-Z to do an Up Smash. You should glide slightly across the stage. Practice with Snake, his is the easiest to do and the most noticable one. Other examples of some good Drifters are:
- Link - Wario - Sheik - Falco (I think)
Typical failures of the Drift would be:
- Running Attack - Up Smash - Jump->Dair
Take in mind that you can charge the Smash with Z, and that if your fast enough, you can execute the running attack, hit with it at the very beginning and then do the Up Smash while Drifting.

Shadrio pretty much nailed it. And yes, Bomb's are hardcore; aside from me having to space ridiculously well against Snake and bait him into almost everything, I also have to keep the time limit of grenades and C4 in my head, which is pretty hard but I'm getting better at it.
P.S: I also wouldn't exactly recommend online as a way of improvement. Anything you see good player's do you can learn legitimately with a group of friends. It's much better than having to deal with Lag input while training, than not dealing with lag input, ultimately improving at a faster rate. In essence; If your friend get's better, you improve off him until you get better, etc,etc until you're just really good. But remember do your research! You can't expect to improve by not knowing anything about the game.

Thats why I try to help SD and Ice as much as possible. Both of them constantly ask me why I give them tips and pointers, and I simply respond with a "CUZ I CAN" Lol. But really it's because if they improve, so does I. Also, I've been hitting the research slightly at proboards. But I have some catching up to do since I just recently went back to proboards for the first time in like... <_< Lets just NOT go there. LONG TIME. XD

I don't reseach that much, you would know why...
Everyone in Chorus: BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO ONE YOUR LIMIT LEVEL TO PLAY WITH!
Thank you...
Most of my Brawlness is gotten from battling level Nines THAT DON'T PERFECT SHIELD EVERY ATTACK YOU THROW AT THEM. That, and the videos of Snake that DL has here, I've gotten a bit Gernade happy as of late, I used to be more slightly screwed in straight forward attacking, but not without being sure I would hit or at least cause the foe to move into a position I would be able to do a more effective attack, now I make sure the battle field always has at least one gernade, and maybe a C4. Still make sure I'm successful in nailing a hit. Love that freakish Up tilt (seriously, just try to do that in real life, you'll not only rip your pants, but your bunghole, too...).
I've sent you 2 some videos of my metagame against CPUs. Hope you can rate me soon. This Friday or Saturday I might get together with the cousin I Brawl against and normally beat 3-0 or 2-0 out of 4. I'll try to save some videos so you can rate me against human players (and maybe my cousin too, there's only so much I can do with my level of mastery)...
Now that I remember, I have a Falco video against a Metaknight Friend, wasn't playing my best though, he tends to get pissed of and not play if I beat him too bad, lol. It was still a fun match, though. Take in mind that I don't Gimp, because it would make things way too easy over all. *sends you 2 that replay*

I'm going to start deleting some of my old replays, I've got 107 replays on this Wii, spanning a time period of about 5 months LOL
One tip for FF: You try entering with Fox with 2 attacks I noticed: - Normal Jump->Nair - Rush in->Reflector
For the first one, get in a bit closer, and short jump into the Nair, so you'd execute it almost on the character, and that has more knockback and flinch on the foe than Normal Jump->Nair. For the second one... WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? It may be fast, but you have to get way too close to the foe foe it to hit, and if you miss, you're up for a nice Grab or Side Smash. There's no Reflector Canceling in Brawl, so that technique isn't worth it anymore, unless if the foe is on you, and you need something fast to slap them away.
So change those entering attack to: - Short Jump->Nair on the Foe - Side B (only if the foe is unable to move in the next few frames, like the lag from landing after Fair, in Snake or King Dedede's case) - A simple running attack
If you want to keep using the Reflector for things other than what the name states, then use it like this:
You're droping from the top of the screen and someone is jumping up towards you to either KO you or juggle you. Instead of going towards the side, or using Side B, leaving you vunerable, stall with the Reflector just a bit before the attack, and when it is over, use a fast fall, a Dair and trap them, and if you two make it to the ground, either Reflect them away, or use an Up Smash if you're fast enough.
And one tip for everyone and anyone who enjoys Brawl:
LEARN HOW TO PLAY AS WARIO, HE'S AS FUN AS HELL AND OWNS.

I can already play Wario, he's really easy to use, lol. I just imagine Jigglypuff from Melee. His only problem is that grab releases own him.

Wario is one of those fun characters anyone can pick up and do well after a bit or watching someone else play as him. Heck, 2 weeks ago, I told my cousin "use Wario, he can Fart and his recovery is excellent!", and just yesterday I told him the same thing. So he chose Wario and we brawled.
I 3-0'd him out of 3 lives, he didn't even do more than 50% do me.
I told him to watch me fight as Wario (I had used Falco in that battle against his Wario) vs. any of his characters, and that way he could know how to fight with him. I used Wario in 2 more battles, and then we continued playing with other characters. A few battles later, we both chosed Wario, and he, just by remembering how I fought, got to take out 2 of my lives, and I barely managed to steal away his last life. Great battle, it was epically fun ^_^
Other easy to pick up and start owning characters would be: - Metaknight - Wolf - Ike - Snake (though to use him efectively, you need to watch some videos of him
And, of course:
- Capt. Falcon
...LOL, poor guy *Falcon Punches in his honor*

I'm going to host some files soon of my replays, but since I had to start anew recently to get Brawl to work again, I've lost most of my old replays, and have to make new ones. >.>
I saw you shouting for my help FF, what is it you want my help with? Tips? If it is for Fox, well...though I am alright with him, he isn't even one of my top 3 mains (Charizard, Lucario, and Marth), don't know how much help I could be, but if that's what it is, let me know, and I'll try think of something helpful to say. Wow, that's cool, hope that goes well. ^.^ Well, I'll just be waiting for some of your Pokémon Trainer videos, semi-patiently... XD J/k, whenever other top priority matches are put up that's fine, I know since PT isn't one of your mains, he wouldn't be much of a priority to put videos up of.
