Well? What IS your favorite Guild Wars 1 profession? Mine would have to be Ele~ I love shooting flame at people and doing high damage. I've always been a sucker for the mage types. They're sweetchus.

That would be ranger. lol They're one of the hardest classes if you play them well. They have the option of interrupting your skills with timing, doing severe damage to mobs of enemies, AND can shoot the farthest using a longbow.

You forgot to mention their survivability.
Rangers are unique in their ability to succeed with the help of, or even in spite of, their environment. They can manipulate the environment to hinder their enemies, or borrow the very power of creation to heal and aid their allies. They are effective from elevated locations such as bridges and cliffs (as you said.), and are the only profession with the ability to charm animals.
Rangers are also given survival skills that help keep them alive by causing regeneration of health. (Troll Unguent)

I am a huge fan of the surprise dominating Trapping skills. Nothing like blinding, crippling, burning, knocking down, poisoning, and bleeding your enemies just by luring them over an invisible ring of chaos.

I'm a lover of the AoE spells that ele can provide... Oh how I love hitting multiple targets for huge amounts of damage... That and causing health degeneration through burning.
