Here's a highly recommended PC game, with great looking visuals, amazing online multiplayer, and some of the best environmental destruction to date.
This game has some awesome conquest games, capture the flag (More like control the unmovable base though, you don't pick up flags), and some casual squad deathmatches. If you like psycho hardcore warfare, or casual shoot 'em up matches, this game has a server for you. I personally cannot get enough of the attack/ defend conquest mode, because of the teamwork orientated tactical squads.
I play pretty regularly, so if anyone else plays, or is looking to get a new online FPS, look me up. I'm Nuggets Card.
As a sidenote; I must warn you that the specs are pretty high, and even though I meet them, even surpass them in some areas, I have to play on a low resolution setting. Even on low res this game is pretty sexy looking, and there's a large diversity of servers so you can find a low ping one located closer to you.

Omigosh this game is very very fun. I played it at my weird friend's house. The customization you can use online is super.

I'm a huge fan of improved demolitions with a mortar strike. A nice way to blow up tanks or clear out a nest of snipers. Sometimes literally, as you can destroy any building they may hide in.

I might have considered this game (a friend in mah uni is constantly talking about it... he's a PC gamer, go figure), but I have way too many games to buy when this semester ends... many of them that have already come out by then, like Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid: Other M and DKC: Returns (and possibly Sonic Colors.. I have to rent that game to be completely sure), not to mention a few Valve games... Maybe I'll dig into it if I somehow win LOTS OF MONEY (because I've still got to save up money for the 3DS and possibly an Xbox 360 and Halo Reach) this summer.
But if I consider at least renting it one day, I'll be sure to tell.
