And today's update was blegh. We already knew about this stage for like MONTHS. And I personally don't like it...

Dammit! I was hyped when I saw waluigi, thinking it was finally a new character. LAME. Waluigi is one of my favorite mario characters, and he's an assist trophy. Booooooring. Cool though, but I was hoping for so much more.
Oh then there's the dud assist trophy. Why the hell would we care about that?

Waluigi is also one of my favorite mario characters, he's the only one I use in Mario Parties ever since Mario Party 3. Waluigi does has some fame, but not enough "out-of-party game" games influence, so that's his mayor letdown for being a character. Waluigi needs to get his own game or important role in any Wario game before being able to be a useable character in a game like the SSB series.

Yeah, though it would be very nice to get a good update for Christmas, but I doubt it.
Special occasions don't seem to be enough of an excuse for Masahiro Sakurai to have a good update that day...
Btw, love your new sig FF, looks great, I'll be using that color a lot when I use Fox.

Well, the Wii anniversary was important, but Christmas is a universal holiday. You can't compare it to Miyamoto's birthday.
On August 3rd (4 months before the previously announced release date), the site got an awesome entry about The Subspace Emissary. The update #100 to the site was about Nintendo Wi-Fi connection. So there's always hope.
On other things, it has been proposed that if Mega Man has to appear in the game, tomorrow and the rest of the week would be a good time to announce it. The 20th anniversary of Mega Man is tomorrow.

...I don't know much about this Megaman character, but from what I've seen, he isn't a very appealing character to me, he looks like a kid wearing blue armor that can do nothing but shoot...
I'd rather a better final 3rd Party character, but there are worse choices I suppose, this obviously would please a lot of people...
Today's update was pretty good for me, it is something else I might be able to get my brother to participate with me in, either that, or I'll have to do all the Co-op events with an idle P2, it's only use being as a decoy, drawing foes to it instead of me until KO'd... >_>
But I'd rather have a 2nd player actually controlling P2, just as long as he wouldn't hold me back too much, I am by far the best against tough CPUs, in Melee, I could take out any Level 9 CPU, though they appear to be tougher in Brawl, I hope they give more of a challenge.
Oh, and I just realized something, this absolutely confirms that the Pokémon Trainer is one of the characters in the starting roster, and not unlockable.
How does this update confirm that? The second Co-op Event involves him! That's confirmation enough ain't it?

I was looking forward to have something like this. I played MMX1 - 3 Then my brother got a PlayStation so I went into MMX4 - 6. ^_^ And before the turn over from SNES to PS, I got into Smash. <_< OH YEAH. Anyway. The events look really fun, and I'm glad that there is more Multiplayer things in Smash now. ^_^ Also thank you ssbmaster for the comment about my sig. ^_^ |

Nice Item, But I don't spend my time in Team battles. Still, it is a good addition, since it shows that this game is more into Co-op gameplay than ever.

Best update in a long time. There were many terrains I could not identify from what game they were from, like the desert area with stone heads popping out of the sand or the part were that vehicle was...all the better, it gives ya a sence of imagination.
I hope SBD doesn't start giving out cool updates from now on, I don't want to spoil the game too much, so I'm not going back to that site again, even though I've seen too much already >_>
